Babouche is a traditional Moroccan slipper made by hand with natural materials.
[ Moroccan Sheep leather ]
There are about one hundred million sheep in Morocco. Sheep is used for food and products with wool and leather. Morocco has a long history of tanning and still keeps doing very traditional ways of vegetable tanning.
We choose the best leather, very soft & smooth for our babouches.
[ Sabra ]
Sabra is a natural material made of cactus.
It is elegantly shiny and strong like silk.
We use sabra for embroidery.
HANDMADE BY TRADITIONAL CRAFTSMAN
Babouche is not mass produced. Babouche is handmade by craftsmen in a traditional way. Most of them are sons of craftsmen. Traditional skills are still alive in Morocco.
Embroidery is made by women at home.
Some of them work with us for more than 10 years.

As time goes by, it fits your feet more and more.
NATURAL MATERIAL
Real leather is getting aged but synthetic leather will be just old and dirty.Moroccan sheep are grown on small farms.
Many farms are less than 1ha and they grow not only sheep but also cows, many kinds of vegetables and fruits, and herbs. Lot of them do Multicultural agriculture.
I love the way they grow animals and people use all of the material, even bone.
QUALITY
As we have worked for Japanese clients for almost 20 years, we care about quality a lot. We believe we have the best quality in Marrakech.
Our babouches are made by our craftsman, we choose all the best material by ourselves and do almost every process in our factory.
Babouches are inspected 3 times before shipping.
